A brick house was used as the backdrop for this vibrant summer garden. The bricks were created from a background of red sugar maple leaves with artemisia leaves and stems as the mortar. The window was constructed from bark with rose petal curtains. The garden and foreground feature bridal veil, alyssum, Japanese lace maple, heather, coral bell, verbena, solidago, sweet clover and miscellaneous ferns and leaves. The concrete plantar was constructed from ningma leaves and beehive. The smaller planter was made from ginkgo leaves. White poplar leaves were used for the walkway. This piece was vacuum sealed between a layer of mylar and acrylic. A second layer of 99% UV conservation glass covers the mat.
